About Our Founder, CEO
Melissa Carter was born a Jamaican native who migrated to the USA at the tender age of eight. From a young age she was very driven and motivated with an ambitious entrepreneurial spirit.
Emerging from a background in Construction and Real Estate and being in Corporate America for over 17 years, the idea of candle making was established on her knees with direct influence and confirmation from God. Thus JMC Candle studio was born.
